This past weekend Liz and I traveled to Macomia where Marin
and Eryn live for Marin’s birthday! It was a lot of fun and great to see many
of the Cabo Delgado volunteers. Liz and I stayed an extra day and helped make
matapa for lunch, a banana birthday cake, and we watched the movie “Life of
Pi.” It was interesting to see how other volunteers live. The girls have to
hike up and down a mountain for an hour if they want to go shopping in their
market but their house was very nice. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing
weekend. Thanks again girls for hosting us :)
